Busy Filming

It's been an AWESOME few days filming.  Sunday, was my first day on Book of Babylon, playing FBI Commander Ross.  Terrific lead cast and director.  Looking forward to my additional scenes later this month.

Yesterday I filmed on The Sinner, with a revamped look for VALENTINE.  Here's a shot with me and my on screen partner, Emily Kaye (one of my besties on an off screen).  You see that Chevelle, THAT'S our car.  We all had so much fun.  One of the best groups I've ever worked with.  More filming on Saturday.  Living the dream.

Epic Filming Last Night

I was on set in San Antonio last night filming EPIC, written/directed by Charles Burmeister.  I played the mother of Scott Eastwood (son of Clint) and girlfriend to Texas' Mark Hanson.  Channeling my inner white trash was a blast.

It was a WONDERFUL shoot.  From talent to crew, just a great group of people and KILLER script.  A lot of physical action in the last scene of the night - there's nothing like a trailer park brawl.  I'm going to Jim Sandberg to get my neck re-aligned this evening. :)

Just got the Best Email

I just received this email in Facebook from a guy I went to high school with. Pretty random and wonderful:

So there I was in the middle of nowhere Afghanistan and some of my Soldiers come into the company headquarters after hitting the local bazaar.


We have some downtime and start watching some movies they just picked up. I am halfway paying attention while working on some paperwork when I hear a voice that sounds a little familiar. I look up and see this nurse chick with a drawl berating ol' Bruce and I'm thinking why can't I place who this is?


So I go back to finish up my reports and then kick back to watch the next movie my guys put in the DVD player. Just about fall out of my chair when you pop up in a scene because I recognized the hair instantly and start yelling, "Hey, I know that hot chick!" As I try to explain how this is, they think I am crazy especially when I try to tell them you were also in the movie that was just on.


Yeah, weird story but what are the odds of picking up and watching - back-to-back - Sin City and The Ringer? It was creepy.


Now where did the Texas drawl come from? I don't really remember that...

I wrote him back: "Texas drawl...ACTING, my friend, ACTING!"
